The primary goal for digitization projects sponsored by CLRC is enhanced access for the people of the region to digital resources created from collections in Central New York's libraries, archives and museums. CNY Heritage seeks collections that have regional and historical interest to the Central New York community, especially the CLRC region: Onondaga, Oneida, Madison and Herkimer counties.

Participation in CNYHeritage.org will be limited to CLRC members or members of CLRC members only. CLRC particularly welcomes cultural heritage organizations that are eligible for the Documentary Heritage Program.

Organizations wishing to become Council members in order to participate in CNY Heritage should either:

Is your organization interested in learning more about CNY Heritage? Is your organization interested in participating in CNY Heritage? This form expresses your interest as well as important contact information to the CLRC.

Once your organization is ready to join us, fill out and return the following two forms:

CNY Heritage Participant Profile

This form serves as an application for participation, and helps the participant as well as the CLRC understand the items that comprise the collection to be digitized.

CNY Heritage Participant Agreement

This form is a contract between the participating institution and the CLRC. The form clarifies various stipulations of the agreement between the participating institution and the CLRC.
